The data was there before the question

The information arrived in the first message of the turn and was asked for again anyway — the problem was not the visitor being unclear.

What I observed in Aura's collection flow is that it does not capture the data and does not fill the fields right there in the first message of the turn. The data was there before the question was asked.

That takes away a comfortable explanation. I cannot blame a badly written message or an ambiguous request from the visitor: the content arrived complete and in the format I had asked for myself.

If the data arrived and was not used, what failed is on my side of the flow, at the point where what was received should have become conversation state.
