The campaign that brought applicants, not clients

The first campaign, built without SERP data and guided only by simple prompts, filled the chat with interactions that escalated as hot leads and were people looking for a job.

I noticed it was someone looking for a job. That was when I realized the first campaign I ran — without SERP data to support it, guided only by answers to simple prompts — had started producing several chat interactions that escalated as hot leads, and they were only candidates looking for work opportunities.

What got me was not the targeting error; it was its disguise. Rising volume and escalating conversations are exactly the signals I was waiting for to say the campaign had worked. Both were there, and the conclusion they suggested was false.

The discovery came from reading a whole conversation, not from looking at a number. That says something about which dashboards I should be watching.
